02a. Grandfather clause. Individuals currently deemed eligible and receiving services under this subchapter shall not have their eligibility altered or impacted by the Developmental Disability Eligibility Reform Amendment Act of 2022 ([, passed on 2nd reading on March 1, 2022 (Enrolled version of Bill 24-268)]D.C. Law 24-1__). (Mar. 3, 1979, D.C. Law 2-137, § 602a; as added May 18, 2022, D.C. Law 24-117, § 3(c)(1), 69 DCR 002653.) Applicability Section 7139 of D.C. Law 24-167 amended section 4 of D.C. Law 24-117 removing the applicability provision impacting this section. Therefore the creation of this section by section 3(c)(1) of Law 24-117 has been implemented. Applicability of D.C. Law 24-117: § 4 of D.C. Law 24-117 provided that the creation of this section by § 3(c)(1) of D.C. Law 24-117 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
