Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the term: (1) 'Adult' means a person who is at least 18 years of age. (2) 'Adult in need of protective services' shall have the same meaning as provided in § 7-1901(2). (3) 'Caregiver' shall have the same meaning as provided in § 7-1901(4). (6) 'Educational records' includes educational records under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, approved August 21, 1974 (88 Stat. 571; 20 U.S.C. § 1232g).
