Penalty. (a) The Mayor, pursuant to Chapter 5 of Title 2, shall issue rules to set specific fine amounts for violations of each provision of this subchapter; provided, that the fines shall not exceed the following amounts: (1) $500 for each offense, except as otherwise provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection. (2) $1000 for each offense for violations of § 8-1808(n), (o) or (p)(1).
