100.342 Notice of special election or referendum.—In any special election or referendum not otherwise provided for, there must be at least 30 days’ notice of the election or referendum by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, district, or municipality, or publication on the county’s website as provided in s. 50.0311, the municipality’s website, or the supervisor’s website, as applicable. The publication must be made at least twice, once in the fifth week and once in the third week before the week in which the election or referendum is to be held.
