112.50 Governor to retain power to suspend public officers.—Whenever any state, county, or municipal officer is made subject to suspension or removal by the terms of any statute or municipal charter, the power of the Governor to suspend officers shall not be affected by such statutory or charter provisions, and the power to suspend shall reside concurrently in the Governor and in the statutory or charter authority.History.—s. 3, ch. 71-333.
