154.07 Public health trusts; creation.—There may be created in and for each county of the state a public body corporate and politic, to be known as the 'public health trust' of such county, for the purpose of exercising the powers described herein with respect to 'designated facilities' as that term is hereinafter defined. No trust created hereunder shall transact any business or exercise any powers until the governing body of the county of such trust shall, by proper resolution, declare that there is a need for such trust to function and shall appoint the members thereof.History.—s. 1, ch. 73-102.
