§ 218.06

218.06 Transfer of funds by county commissioners with relation to public works grants.—(1) Boards of county commissioners of the several counties of the state, whenever it may be necessary to meet the requirements of the United States Government with reference to obtaining grants of federal funds in connection with the program of the Public Works Administration, may by resolution of such board, transfer and expend such sums of money as may be necessary to obtain said grant, from any fund to such other fund as may be necessary to meet said requirements and carry out the intent and purposes of the said transfer; provided, however, that no such transfer may be made by any county of the state without first having obtained the approval of the Department of Financial Services thereto, and in the counties of the state where there is provision for a budget commission, without first having also obtained the approval of said budget commission to said transfer.(2) The Department of Financial Services and the budget commissions of the several counties of the state in which there are provisions for such budget commissions, may approve such transfers whenever in their opinion such transfers are
