784.075 Battery on detention or commitment facility staff or a juvenile probation officer.—A person who commits a battery on a juvenile probation officer, as defined in s. 984.03 or s. 985.03, on other staff of a detention center or facility as defined in s. 984.03(19) or s. 985.03, or on a staff member of a commitment facility as defined in s. 985.03, commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
