860.03 Intoxicated servant of common carrier.—If any person while in charge of a locomotive engine, acting as the conductor or superintendent of a car or train, on the car or train as a brakeman, employed to attend the switches, drawbridges or signal stations on any railway, or acting as captain or pilot on any steamboat shall be intoxicated, the person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.History.—RS 2693; GS 3638; RGS 5574; CGL 7760; s. 1087, ch. 71-136; s. 1390, ch. 97-102.
