860.16 Aircraft piracy; penalty.—Whoever without lawful authority seizes or exercises control, by force or violence and with wrongful intent, of any aircraft containing a nonconsenting person or persons within this state is guilty of the crime of aircraft piracy, a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.History.—s. 1, ch. 72-725.
