943.055 Records and audit.—(1) Criminal justice agencies disseminating criminal justice information derived from a Department of Law Enforcement criminal justice information system shall maintain a record of dissemination in accordance with the user agreements in s. 943.0525.(2) The Criminal Justice Information Program shall arrange for any audits of state and local criminal justice and noncriminal justice agencies necessary to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations, this chapter, and rules of the Department of Law Enforcement pertaining to the establishment, operation, security, and maintenance of criminal justice information systems.History.—s. 7, ch. 80-409; s. 11, ch. 98-94; s. 22, ch. 2013-116.
