951.0623 Application of ch. 86-183; agreement or contract as of July 1, 1986.—Notwithstanding any other provision of chapter 86-183, Laws of Florida, each correctional facility and county detention facility operated and maintained by either the sheriff or by a contractual private entity on the effective date of this act may continue to be operated and maintained in accordance with any current agreement or contract; however, should such agreement or contract ever be terminated, the provisions of chapter 86-183, Laws of Florida, shall thereafter apply.History.—s. 9, ch. 86-183.
