1009.44 Need-based financial aid; no preference to students receiving other aid.—From the funds collected by state universities and Florida College System institutions as a financial aid fee and from other funds appropriated by the Legislature for financial aid from the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, institutions shall expend those moneys designated as need-based financial aid with no preference given to students who also qualify for merit-based or other financial aid awards.History.—s. 417, ch. 2002-387; s. 129, ch. 2011-5.
