1013.78 Approval required for certain university-related facility acquisitions.—(1) No university or university direct-support organization shall construct, accept, or purchase facilities for which the state will be asked for operating funds unless there has been prior approval for construction or acquisition granted by the Legislature.(2) Legislative approval shall not be required for renovations, remodeling, replacement of existing facilities, or construction of minor projects as defined in s. 1013.64, except to the extent required pursuant to s. 1010.62.History.—s. 874, ch. 2002-387; s. 186, ch. 2007-217.
