395.51 Confidentiality and quality assurance activities of trauma agencies.—(1) All information which is confidential by operation of law and which is obtained by a local or regional trauma agency or a panel or committee assembled by a local or regional trauma agency pursuant to s. 395.50, shall retain its confidential status and be exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution.(2) All information which is confidential by operation of law and which is obtained by a hospital or emergency medical services provider from a local or regional trauma agency or a panel or committee assembled by a local or regional trauma agency pursuant to s. 395.50, shall retain its confidential status and shall be exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution.(3) Portions of meetings, proceedings, reports, and records of a local or regional trauma agency, or a panel or committee assembled by a local or regional trauma agency pursuant to this chapter, which relate solely to patient care quality assurance are confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 286.011, and s. 24(b), Art. by a local or regional trauma agency pursuant to this chapter, which relate solely to patient care quality assurance are confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 286.011, and s. 24(b), Art. I of the State Constitution and are confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution, respectively.
