397.6771 Protective custody with consent.—A person in circumstances which justify protective custody, as described in s. 397.677, may consent to be assisted by a law enforcement officer to his or her home, to a hospital, or to a licensed detoxification or addictions receiving facility, whichever the officer determines is most appropriate.History.—s. 6, ch. 93-39; s. 740, ch. 95-148.
