403.728 Qualifications of operation personnel of hazardous waste facilities.—The owner and operator of a hazardous waste facility shall employ persons who are adequately trained, or who are registered in a training program, to operate and maintain a hazardous waste facility. The department may develop and conduct onsite or classroom training programs for persons who operate or maintain hazardous waste facilities. The department may do so through its employees or by contract. The program may include training in personal and public safety, emergency measures, properties of the waste, and such other items as the department deems necessary.History.—s. 8, ch. 80-302.
