403.7721 Rule of construction; chs. 85-269 and 85-277.—The provisions of chapters 85-269 and 85-277, Laws of Florida, shall be construed to supplement rather than to diminish or supersede the powers exercised by the department under chapter 376 and this chapter. In accordance with chapter 376 and this chapter, the department may fully exercise its authority under said chapters to collect information for other purposes and may coordinate such efforts with the information gathering duties imposed by chapters 85-269 and 85-277, where deemed practicable and advisable, in order to provide for cost-effective use of state resources.History.—s. 15, ch. 85-269; s. 5, ch. 85-277; s. 417, ch. 94-356.
