§ 408.801

408.801 Short title; purpose.—(1) This part may be cited as the 'Health Care Licensing Procedures Act.'(2) The Legislature finds that there is unnecessary duplication and variation in the requirements for licensure by the agency. It is the intent of the Legislature to provide a streamlined and consistent set of basic licensing requirements for all such providers in order to minimize confusion, standardize terminology, and include issues that are otherwise not adequately addressed in the Florida Statutes pertaining to specific providers.History.—s. 5, ch. 2006-192.
