339.2815 Purchase orders.—(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, to facilitate the payment of fees, fines, permits, deposits, court fees, or any other services or products provided by or to the department, any agency of the state, any local governmental entity, or any public body doing business with the department may acquire the stated services valued at $10,000 or less per transaction by purchase order and shall accept purchase orders from the department for stated services valued at $10,000 or less per transaction.(2) The department or any other agency of the state, local governmental entity, or public body may elect not to accept a purchase order as provided in subsection (1), if it can demonstrate that the entity issuing such purchase order has within the preceding 2 years failed to honor, within 60 days of receipt, an invoice submitted for services as provided in subsection (1).History.—s. 26, ch. 93-164.
