373.63 Preference to State University System in award of projects or studies.—Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the governing boards of the water management districts, in considering the awarding of projects or studies relating to research, restoration, or similar projects or studies, shall give preferential consideration to universities in the State University System.History.—s. 14, ch. 92-288.
