461.0131 Emergency procedures for disciplinary action.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, no later than 30 days after a third report of a professional liability claim against a licensed podiatric physician has been submitted, within a 60-month period, as required by ss. 456.049 and 627.912, the Department of Health shall initiate an emergency investigation and the Board of Podiatric Medicine shall conduct an emergency probable cause hearing to determine whether the physician should be disciplined for a violation of s. 461.013(1)(s) or any other relevant provision of law.History.—s. 30, ch. 2003-416.
