468.813 Use of titles.—A person must be licensed or registered under this part to represent himself or herself as a licensed or registered orthotist, prosthetist, prosthetist-orthotist, orthotic fitter, orthotic fitter assistant, pedorthist, prosthetic resident, or orthotic resident or use in connection with his or her name the words 'orthotist,' 'prosthetist,' 'prosthetist-orthotist,' 'orthotic fitter,' 'orthotic fitter assistant,' 'pedorthist,' or 'resident' or abbreviations, titles, or insignia indicating or suggesting that he or she is able to legally provide services or devices described in this part.History.—s. 13, ch. 97-284; s. 12, ch. 2008-121.
