§ 479.310

479.310 Unpermitted and illegal signs; intent.—It is the intent of this part to relieve the department from the financial burden incurred in the removal of unpermitted and illegal signs located within the right-of-way of and controlled areas adjacent to the State Highway System, interstate highway system, and federal-aid primary highway system; to place the financial responsibility for the cost of such removal directly upon those benefiting from the location and operation of such unpermitted and illegal signs; and to provide clear authority to the department for the recovery of cost incurred by the department in the removal of such unpermitted and illegal signs.History.—s. 43, ch. 2010-225.
