479.312 Unpermitted signs; cost of removal.—All costs incurred by the department in connection with the removal of a sign located within a controlled area adjacent to the State Highway System, interstate highway system, or federal-aid primary highway system which has not been issued a permit under part I shall be assessed against and collected from the owner of the sign, the advertiser displayed on the sign, or the owner of the property upon which the sign is located. For the purposes of this section, a sign that does not display the name of the sign owner shall be presumed to be owned by the owner of the property upon which the sign is located.History.—s. 43, ch. 2010-225.
