487.15 Reclamation, reimbursement, and disposal.—(1) When the use of any pesticide registered or otherwise approved for use in this state is suspended or canceled to prevent harm to the public or the environment, the registrant, at its own expense, shall reclaim and provide reimbursement for that pesticide from any distributor, dealer, user, or other party possessing it in this state and provide for the proper removal or disposal of the pesticide in accordance with federal and state law.(2) The registrant shall comply with the requirements of subsection (1) within 90 days of issuance of the order of suspension or cancellation.History.—s. 22, ch. 84-338; ss. 25, 37, ch. 92-115.
