489.557 Fees, establishment.—(1) The department shall, by rule, establish fees as follows:(a) For septic tank contractor registration:1. Application and examination fee: not less than $25 or more than $75.2. Initial registration fee: not less than $50 or more than $100.3. Renewal of registration fee: not less than $50 or more than $100.(b) For master septic tank contractor registration:1. Application and examination fee: not less than $25 or more than $75.2. Initial registration fee: not less than $50 or more than $100.3. Renewal of registration fee: not less than $50 or more than $100.(c) Certification of partnerships and corporations: not less than $100 or more than $250.(2) Fees established pursuant to subsection (1) shall be based on the actual costs incurred by the department in carrying out its registration and other related responsibilities under this part.History.—ss. 7, 10, ch. 87-310; s. 4, ch. 91-429; s. 12, ch. 96-303.
