496.4121 Collection receptacles used for donations.—(1) As used in this section, the term 'collection receptacle' means a receptacle used to collect donated clothing, household items, or other goods for resale.(2) A collection receptacle must display a permanent sign or label on each side which contains the following information printed in letters that are at least 3 inches in height and no less than one-half inch in width, in a color that contrasts with the color of the collection receptacle:(a) For a collection receptacle used by a person required to register under this chapter, the name, street address, telephone number, and registration number of the charitable organization or sponsor for whom the solicitation is made.(b) For a collection receptacle placed or maintained in public view by a person not required to register under this chapter or by a person not claiming an exemption pursuant to s. 496.406, the name, telephone number, and physical address of the business conducting the solicitation and the statement: 'This is not a charity. Donations made here support a for-profit business and are not tax deductible.'(3) Upon request, a charitable organization or sponsor using a
