501.622 Criminal prosecuting authority.—The department may refer such evidence as may be available concerning violations of the provisions of this part or of any rule or order hereunder to any criminal prosecuting agency, which may, in its discretion, with or without such a reference, in addition to any other action it might commence, bring an action against any person to enjoin, restrain, and prevent the doing of any act or practice herein prohibited or declared unlawful.History.—ss. 1, 2, ch. 91-237; s. 4, ch. 91-429.
