534.48 License and fee.—Prior to engaging in business, every livestock market shall make application to the department for a license. Such application shall be on a form provided by the department and shall be accompanied by an annual license fee of $100. Upon approval of the application by the department, a license shall be issued and shall remain in effect for 1 year from the date of issuance unless terminated by the department.
