549.04 Association holding race to pay sheriff’s fees.—Every sheriff and deputy sheriff participating in the policing of any racecourse, as provided in this chapter, shall receive the sum of $2 per day during the period in which such races are in progress, which shall be paid by the persons holding the races.History.—s. 5, ch. 5438, 1905; RGS 2362; CGL 3766.
