553.83 Injunctive relief.—Any local government, legally constituted enforcement district, or state agency authorized to enforce sections of the Florida Building Code under s. 553.80 may seek injunctive relief from any court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin the offering for sale, delivery, use, occupancy, erection, alteration, or installation of any building covered by this part, upon an affidavit of the local government, code enforcement district, or state agency specifying the manner in which the building does not conform to the requirements of the Florida Building Code, or local amendments to the Florida Building Code.
