§ 585.004

585.004 Department charged with enforcement of law; duties of state attorneys.—The department shall see that the provisions of this chapter are carried out. The department may require the state attorney in any circuit or county to institute suits, civil or criminal, for the purpose of enforcing or carrying out the terms of this chapter and the rules of the department, or preventing violations thereof. Any person or officer charged with any duty under this chapter may be compelled to perform the same by mandamus, injunction, or other extraordinary remedy upon the application and in the name of the department.
