585.22 Public notice of general quarantines.—The department shall give public notice whenever it places any area of the state under general quarantine. The notice shall in general terms define the quarantine lines established. The department shall publish the notice, at least once, in a newspaper to be selected by the department within each county wherein the quarantined area lies, and post a copy of the notice at the door of the courthouse of each county.
