589.31 Cooperative agreement.—Before any assistance is provided under this law, the county or municipality and the Florida Forest Service, through their duly constituted representatives, shall enter into a mutually satisfactory cooperative agreement covering the specific duties, and set up a budget for any fiscal period beginning July 1 and ending June 30, and the county’s or municipality’s share of the budget provided shall be turned over to the Florida Forest Service, one-half on or before July 1, and the remainder on or before January 1, and placed in the Incidental Trust Fund of the Florida Forest Service.History.—s. 4, ch. 20899, 1941; s. 2, ch. 61-119; ss. 14, 35, ch. 69-106; s. 4, ch. 71-183; s. 52, ch. 2012-7.
