626.847 Penalty for refusal to testify.—A person who refuses or fails, without lawful cause, to testify relative to the affairs of any title insurer or other person when subpoenaed under s. 626.8463 and requested by the department or office to so testify is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree and, upon conviction, is punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.History.—s. 22, ch. 85-185; s. 1, ch. 86-286; s. 154, ch. 91-224; s. 114, ch. 92-318; s. 970, ch. 2003-261.
