655.049 Deposit of fees and assessments.—The assessments, application fees, late payment penalties, civil penalties, administrative fines, and other fees or penalties provided for in the financial institutions codes shall, in all cases, be paid directly to the office, which shall deposit all thereof in the Financial Institutions’ Regulatory Trust Fund, which fund shall be used by the office to pay its costs for administration of the financial institutions codes. The office shall determine and report to the Legislature whether the fees and assessments provided in the financial institutions codes and assessed against and collected from the financial institutions that are subject to the financial institutions codes support the office’s expenditures.
