Section 12-8-181 - Establishment of division; appointment of director; voluntary activities of businesses and industries

(a) There is established within the Department of Natural Resources the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division. The commissioner shall appoint a division director, subject to the approval of the board, who shall serve at the pleasure of the commissioner.(b) Any other provision of this article to the contrary notwithstanding, participation by private businesses and industries in the assistance activities of the division shall be voluntary.
