Section 15-12-40 - Ineligibility to serve as trial juror

Any person who has been convicted of a felony in a state or federal court who has not had his or her civil rights restored and any person who has been judicially determined to be mentally incompetent shall not be eligible to serve as a trial juror.Added by 2012 Ga. Laws 599,§ III-3-1, eff. 7/1/2012.Former section 15-12-40, relating to compilation, maintenance, and revision of jury lists, was repealed 7/1/2012.
