The several judges of the superior courts in their respective circuits shall have the power and it shall be their duty to qualify the judges of the probate courts of the several counties in their circuits, to approve the official bonds of the judges of the probate courts, and to cause the bonds to be returned to the Secretary of State with the dedimus, to be filed with the office of the Secretary of State. In all cases a certified copy of the bond shall be sufficient original evidence on which to bring an action and recover.Amended by 2018 Ga. Laws 405,§ 1-8, eff. 7/1/2018.
