Section 19-13-23 - Confidentiality of location of family violence shelter; exceptions

(a) Any person who knowingly publishes, disseminates, or otherwise discloses the location of a family violence shelter is guilty of a misdemeanor.(b) This Code section shall not apply to: (1) Confidential communications between a client and his or her attorney; or(2) Instances when such publication, dissemination, or disclosure is authorized by the director of the shelter.
