Section 24-11-28 - Joinder of additional party defendants in proceedings to establish lost or destroyed papers

In all proceedings for the purpose of establishing any lost or destroyed paper other than an office paper, as defined in Code Section 24-11-20, any person whose interest will be affected by the establishment of the lost paper shall, upon motion, by order of the court, be made a party respondent in the proceeding and shall be allowed all the rights of defense against the establishment of the paper as fully as if he or she was the maker of the lost paper.Added by 2011 Ga.
