(a) No amusement ride shall be operated, except for purposes of testing and inspection, until a permit for its operation has been issued by the office. The owner of an amusement ride shall apply for a permit to the office on a form furnished by the office providing such information as the office may require.(b) No such application shall be complete without including a certificate of inspection from a licensed inspector that the amusement ride meets all relevant provisions of this article and the standards and regulations adopted pursuant thereto. The cost of obtaining the certificate of inspection from a licensed inspector shall be borne by the owner or operator.Transferred from 34-12-7 and amended by 2012 Ga. Laws 755,§ 3, eff. 5/2/2012.
