(a) All amusement rides shall be inspected annually, and may be inspected more frequently, by a licensed inspector at the owner's or operator's expense. If the amusement ride meets all relevant provisions of this article and the standards and regulations adopted pursuant to this article, the licensed inspector shall provide to the owner or operator a certificate of inspection. All new amusement rides shall be inspected before commencing public operation.(b) Amusement rides and attractions may be required to be inspected by an authorized person each time they are assembled or disassembled in accordance with regulations and standards established under this article.Transferred from 34-12-8 and amended by 2012 Ga.
