Section 31-52-7 - Coverage under health benefit plan permitted but not required

A health benefit plan or governmental agency may provide coverage for the cost of any investigational drug, biological product, or device pursuant to this chapter; provided, however, that nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require a health benefit plan or governmental agency to provide coverage for the cost of any investigational drug, biological product, or device pursuant to this chapter.Added by 2016 Ga.
