Section 33-38-11 - Records of meetings and negotiations of the association

Records shall be kept of all negotiations and meetings in which the association or its representatives are involved to discuss the activities of the association in carrying out its powers and duties under Code Section 33-38-7. The records of the association with respect to an impaired or insolvent insurer shall not be disclosed prior to the termination of a liquidation, rehabilitation, or conservation proceeding involving the impaired or insolvent insurer, except (a) upon the termination of the impairment or insolvency of the insurer, or (b) upon the order of a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this Code section shall limit the duty of the association to render a report of its activities under Code Section 33-38-12.Amended by 2012 Ga. Laws 668,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2012.
