Georgia Legal Code
(a) Each county and municipality shall execute an agreement for the implementation of a local government service delivery strategy as set forth in this article :(1) By December 31st of each year following the year in which the county's ten-year comprehensive plan update is due in accordance with the rules promulgated by the department pursuant to this chapter or Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 50; and(2) Within 180 days of the occurrence of an event requiring review and revision pursuant to subsection (b) of Code Section 36-70-28.(b) For municipalities located within multiple counties, the review and deadline for an agreement for the implementation of a local government service delivery strategy shall be applicable for the portion of the municipality that lies within a given county in conjunction with such county's review and deadline.(c) The provisions of this article shall not apply to any consolidated government in which no other municipal corporation exists within the county.Amended by 2024 Ga.
