Section 38-3-169 - Regulatory authority

The Department of Public Health may promulgate rules and regulations to implement this article. In doing so, the Department of Public Health shall consult with and consider the recommendations of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, consistent with the Georgia Emergency Operations Plan, and shall also consult with and consider rules and regulations promulgated by similarly empowered agencies in other states to promote uniformity of application of this article and make the emergency response systems in the various states reasonably compatible.Added by 2016 Ga.
