§ 4-4-1-1

As used in this chapter, the term:(1) 'Livestock' means cattle, swine, equines, poultry, sheep, goats, nontraditional livestock, and ruminants.(2) 'Nontraditional livestock' means the species of Artiodactyla (even-toed ungulates) listed as bison, water buffalo, farmed deer, llamas, and alpacas that are held and possessed legally and in a manner which is not in conflict with the provisions of Chapter 5 of Title 27 dealing with wild animals.Amended by 2008 Ga.
