The Secretary of State shall be authorized to charge a license fee, license renewal fee, or similar fee and may establish the amount of the fee to be charged. Each fee shall be reasonable and shall be determined in such a manner that the total amount of fees charged by the Secretary of State shall approximate the total of the direct and indirect costs to the state of the operations involved in the issuance of a license. Fees may be refunded for good cause, as determined by the Secretary of State.Added by 2008 Ga. Laws 775,§ 15, eff. 7/1/2008.
